Providing high-quality care in the Western Communities since 1993. From humble beginnings as a Family Daycare, Summer Breeze has grown to serve children aged 0-11 years. Our comprehensive program includes an Infant Toddler program, a full-day program for 3-5 year-olds, two 3/4 Day Preschool Programs, a Before and After School Program catering to Happy Valley Elementary Schools, and an exciting full-day Summer Camp during the summer months.
Our Infant Toddler Program offers a wonderful first experience for babies. Our loving staff will support, encourage, and nurture your infant while they are in our care. We provide ongoing opportunities for them to be creative, explore, and develop a sense of trust and security with their caregivers. We foster individuality and support each child as they learn and grow.
Our three- to five-year-old program is a great Kindergarten readiness program that focuses on socialization, problem-solving, creating positive relationships with peers and caregivers, and learning to develop a strong sense of self. Children are encouraged to make choices, and caregivers will support, respect, and encourage positive interactions. The program follows the Early Care and Learning guidelines, providing children with opportunities for music, creative art, songs, dance, weekly baking, and physical activity. Children in this program will also have the opportunity to go on outings into the community. They will learn about where we live, discover nature, and become familiar with the community.
We provide a half-day preschool/daycare program that runs from 9 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer both Full-Time and Part-Time options. We understand that some families prefer a structured schedule for their children, so we offer this service to accommodate their needs. This allows parents more than 2 hours to accomplish errands, providing them with additional quality time with their child.
Our Preschool program is led by Early Childhood Educators who create a fun and safe learning environment for children to socialize, learn, and develop their unique personalities. It serves as an excellent introduction before children enter full-day Kindergarten.
Our Before and After School Program runs Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. We serve one school in the Western Communities: Happy Valley Elementary. We provide transportation to and from school to our centers.
Our program offers a fun and safe environment for children to socialize and engage in positive interactions. Children in our Out-of-School Care are given numerous activity choices, including creative art, music, games, and organized activities. Full-day programs are available on Non-Instructional Days for an additional cost.
Our program provides full-day care for all Non-Instructional Days, as well as during Spring and Summer. Both registered and non-registered families are welcome on these days. Separate registration is required for Non-Instructional Days. Our full-day program includes arts, crafts, and daily outings in the community.
